River in Ministry

We BELIEVE in loving, training and caring  for our children! We have the following ministries geared toward kids ages 0-12 on Sundays at 10:30AM & Wednesdays at 7PM

NURSERY:  Ages 0-2
RAINBOWS: Ages 3-5
KOPS (Kids of Promise): Ages 6-12

Pastor Joanne is the director for the Nursery and Rainbows. Pam Owen in the children's church (KOPS) minister. 

We also have an annual Kids Crusade every third week in July. This is a multi-media, high energy event that kids 12 & Under love. Almost 100 volunteers work to make this event a success for hundreds of boys and girls!

 

PULSE YOUTH GROUP
The youth are led by Joanne Jones, Jamie Slaton and Kyle Piper! We meet every  Wednesday at 7PM and have game nights and fun fellowship. Ages: 12-High School!

We also meet every other Friday night at the Damascus Road House! This is our youth center for the community. Hours are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for ages 12-19. The youth center is great fun with live music and games such as billiards, ping pong, concessions, video games, basketball, foosball, and more!

RU College Ministry (River U)

RU is led by Dennis and Lisa Piper for ages 18-25. We focus on preparing young adults to live healthy balanced lives in the Word. Instruction is given for successful lives, careers and marriages.

RU meets after worship on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. in the room next to the fellowship hall.

Adult Ministries

Throughout the year we have men's meetings, women's meetings (including the May Mother/Daughter banquet) and other outings for adults. Additional ministries are:

RUTH-Ministry for Widows. Outings once per month.

Stream Team

The Stream Team is our hospitality ministry led by James Owen. This includes the ushers, greeters and parking lot attendees.

TV & Movie Ministry

Burning Bush Productions is here to reach out with eye catching life changing entertainment in many forms of media that can Set Your Life On Fire with purpose and fulfillment that can only come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He alone is true salvation. (Acts 4:10-12)
